1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Veepzo processes personal data when you use the website, app, account, rewards features, support channels and related services. Veepzo, operating from Hungary, acts as the data controller for personal data for which it determines the purposes and means of processing.

2. Data we may collect

Reward and activity data

Offers viewed or started, milestones, survey status, reward transactions, pending/approved/rejected status, redemption history, provider transaction identifiers and support records.

Device and technical data

IP address, device type, operating system, app version, language, approximate country/region, timestamps, crash/security logs and identifiers reasonably required for attribution, fraud prevention or service operation.

Verification data

If verification is required, we may process information needed to verify account ownership, eligibility, identity or residency. We will request only what is reasonably necessary for the relevant verification purpose.

Communications

Messages, attachments and other information you send to support or through contact forms.

3. Where data comes from

We receive data directly from you, automatically from your device when you use Veepzo, and from third-party offer, survey, attribution, verification, anti-fraud or payout providers when they report events necessary to operate the rewards service.

4. Why we use personal data

  • create and maintain accounts;
  • display, personalize and administer available offers;
  • track activities and calculate or validate rewards;
  • process redemptions and prevent duplicate or unauthorized payouts;
  • detect fraud, abuse, security incidents and technical errors;
  • respond to support requests and disputes;
  • measure and improve the performance and usability of Veepzo;
  • comply with legal, accounting, tax or regulatory obligations where applicable;
  • send service messages and, with any required consent, marketing communications.

5. Legal bases for EEA/UK users

Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases: performance of a contract (providing your account and rewards service); legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, service improvement and business administration, balanced against your rights); compliance with legal obligations; and consent where the law requires consent, for example for certain marketing or optional tracking technologies.

6. Sharing personal data

We may share data only as reasonably necessary with categories of recipients such as:

  • offerwall, survey, game and advertising partners that validate activities;
  • cloud hosting, analytics, communication and customer-support providers;
  • anti-fraud, attribution, identity or eligibility verification providers;
  • payment, gift-card or redemption providers;
  • professional advisers and authorities when legally required;
  • a buyer or successor in a legitimate corporate transaction, subject to applicable law.

Third-party offers may independently collect personal data under their own privacy policies. You should review those policies when leaving Veepzo or interacting with a third-party service.

7. International transfers

Some service providers may process data outside your country. Where EEA/UK personal data is transferred internationally, Veepzo will use an approved transfer mechanism where required, such as an adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful safeguard.

8. Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including account operation, reward disputes, fraud prevention, legal compliance and financial recordkeeping. Different categories may have different retention periods. Data may be deleted or anonymized when it is no longer required, unless law requires longer retention.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data; restrict or object to certain processing; withdraw consent; and complain to a data-protection authority. Where applicable, you may also have rights relating to automated decision-making.

To make a privacy request, contact support@veepzo.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse or alteration. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

11. Cookies and similar technologies

The website may use essential cookies or similar technologies needed to provide features, maintain security and remember settings. If analytics, advertising or other non-essential tracking is introduced, Veepzo should provide a cookie notice and consent controls where required by law before those technologies are activated.

12. Younger users

Veepzo is not intended for persons under 18. Third-party activities may require a higher age. If we learn that personal data was collected from a person under 18 in violation of applicable law, we will take appropriate steps to delete or otherwise handle it lawfully.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy as Veepzo, our providers or applicable laws change. The latest version will always display its effective date, and material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
